I have so, "been there, done that."I was Mr. Mom for the first 3 years with my son, while my wife worked at her television writing job. We would go to our favorite park a lot where we would be surrounded by the Mom Squad or nannies and their charges. The only other men were most typically actors. I could almost guarantee that if I saw another man with a child within minutes he would be pulling a script from his diaper bag to study for his next audition. Later, I was the one to take my son to ice skating lessons and later hockey practice. Even there the number of Moms outweighed the number of Dads.It is indeed a little disconcerting at times. Almost like you are infiltrating a foreign culture with different language and social mores. Glad to know I am not the only one who has been through this. Maybe we need to start a support group. (LAUGH)
