I think a lot of them go into politics with good intentions but then they get sucked in to the quagmire of bureaucracy and flounder.The civil servants run the country anyway, with all the changing of governments and ministers they have to or else nothing would get done. I think Yes Minister/Prime Minister was about right.I certainly hope these bills or whatever they are called in the USA don’t get through – hand’s off the internet!
